We believe that our team and environment here at Leomhann Enterprises are as unique as they come. Citing our previous blog, our emphasis on team-building events, leadership training, and competition & recognition is prominent and defines our company’s values and the direction we look to go as an organization.

Being Bilo: Meet Leomhann Enterprises Assistant Manager

From Ankara, Turkey to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Columbus, Ohio to Cleveland, it’s been quite a journey over the last 10 years for Bilo Yuce to find Leomhann Enterprises.  

When you move to the United States at 17 years old speaking a foreign language and knowing no one but your immediate family, you have two choices at that time – you can 1) take the opportunity to reinvent yourself, adapting to your new surroundings and growing with them or 2) remain within your comfort zone, sticking with what is familiar and comfortable. Luckily Bilo, Assistant Manager here at Leomhann Enterprises, chose the first option!

After moving from Turkey to Florida and adjusting accordingly, Bilo chose to move yet again with his family to Columbus and attend Ohio State (he’s fearless, we know)! Studying Construction Systems Management with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering, Bilo spent the last 2 years of his schooling interning with a local construction company and an additional 5 years working full time with that company after his graduation. When he realized that construction was never going to provide him with work he was passionate about, he chose to go back to Ohio State and study zoology – a field he knew would get him excited to go to work everyday.

In the midst of completing his second degree and job searching, Bilo was offered a chance to help his friend start an online retail store selling fashion accessories! Intrigued by the opportunity, he agreed knowing business management skills would be a great addition to have on his resume. As if school & a start-up weren’t enough to keep him busy, Bilo ALSO accepted an entry-level sales representative position with a local Columbus based marketing firm, determined to graduate with improved leadership & communication skills!

As fate goes, Bilo met Leomhann Enterprises’s CEO, Jeff, there, and after graduating and selling his share of the online business, relocated with Jeff to help AT&T expand their Uverse services across Ohio. Now 15 months after his move to Cleveland, and a promotion of his own, Bilo is well on his way to a Management role here at Leomhann Enterprises. Open to helping the company and client grow anywhere outside of Ohio, 2018 is looking like the year of Bilo!

When asked what his favorite thing is about working at Leomhann Enterprises, Bilo quickly replied “the opportunity to train people. I love seeing people start with our company with no background in sales, training them, and then watching their professional development. The transformation of people is really inspiring.”

When he’s not working or offering the best training to new team members, you can catch him with his 3 pups, spending time with his significant other, cheering on Chelsea FC, or growing fresh vegetables & herbs in his sun room! An entrepreneurial introvert, there’s always a new book on Bilo’s nightstand or colleague he’s emailing to further his growth as a leader.

A Look Inside the Culture at Leomhann Enterprises

If you’ve ever taken an interview preparation course, you’ve most likely been told that one of the most important questions to ask a prospective employer is “What is the company culture like?” Why is this question so vital to ask? Leomhann Enterprises believes that individuals crave a work environment that possesses the same values and characteristics as they do. Here in Cleveland, OH, the culture is the best part of  our company! The following are four focal points of our work environment.

Office Nights

Every Thursday, the Leomhann Enterprises team gets together after work to do fun activities such as bowling, laser tag, game night, etc. Engaging as a team in these weekly activities has proven to be an effective bonding strategy, as it is the perfect way to get to know each other outside of work. Our Founder & CEO, Jeffrey, says, “The work environment is very upbeat and “work hard play hard”. We have a lot of fun, work hard all week, and then top it off on Thursday night with office night.”

Leadership Training

Leadership is a huge part of our culture. In fact, it’s one of our core values. Jeffrey explains, “At Leomhann Enterprises, we’re all about developing individuals to become the great version of themselves and helping them hit whatever goals they have set for themselves.” Not only do we set individual goals, we also set team goals, which creates unity and motivation within our culture. Like our Human Resources Manager, Abbigail, says, “You spend so much time at work with your coworkers, so I feel like it’s so important to have that relationship with them and to feel like they’re your family. The positivity and energy we have is definitely my favorite part of the business.”

Competition & Recognition

At Leomhann Enterprises, we’re all about rewarding hard work. Our management team rewards those who reach their weekly goals with perks such as gift cards, dinners, and even homemade pies. (That’s not a joke; our Human Resources team bakes a pie for any team member that is promoted to Corporate Trainer, haha!) From Starbucks cards to performance bonuses from our client, our team members are constantly being recognized for going the extra mile!

Attitude

The “attitude” of our culture is something were immensely proud of. We foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. As Assistant Manager Winston notes, “My favorite thing about working here is the family feel and camaraderie that we have in the office.” We promote an environment that is free of negativity and is solution-oriented rather than problem-focused. HR Administrator Brea mentions, “I love that everyone comes into the office with a smiling face and asks how you are. The people here genuinely care about each other and want to help others succeed.”

 

Though implementing a culture such as ours, our company has provided ongoing career opportunities, merit-based promotions, and market expansion for our client. Whether it’s in a casual setting or a professional setting, the culture at Leomhann Enterprises remains exciting, upbeat, and productive.

The Game Winston Is Winning: Leomhann Enterprises’ New Assistant Manager

It’s been quite a year for Winston Thomas, newest Assistant Manager here at Leomhann Enterprises in Cleveland, OH! In the past 400 days since starting with our organization in June 2016, Winston has traveled to Texas, Louisiana, and Idaho, built and overseen a team of over 10 individuals, set sales records for our client, and been promoted to Assistant Management within our company’s Management Program. Despite making it look effortless, Winston has put in countless time, sweat, and practice into perfecting his craft, preparing our organization for expansion in the first quarter of 2018.

Born in Fortsville, Oklahoma, Winston grew up as the only child of an Army family and was accustomed to moving every 2 years due to new stations from the military. Traveling constantly, Winston recalls having to make friends quickly by being sociable and outgoing. Spending the most time in Baumholder, Germany, (a total of 5 years), Winston remembers leading a disciplined and structured childhood and spending a considerable amount of time with his mom (you rock, Mrs. Thomas), as his dad was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq (thanks Mr. Thomas for your service)!

When his father retired in 2005, the family moved a final time to Columbus, OH as Winston was entering his High School years. Slightly overweight as a child (eating all of that delicious German food), Winston used the move to work on his health and started trying out for the football and track teams.  A gifted athlete, he was offered a scholarship to play collegiate football at Wittenburg University and started as a linebacker his sophomore to senior years.

A nursing student with a passion for taking care of others, Winston graduated in 4 years and was accepted into Western Virginia University to start his RN degree. Looking for a temporary job over the summer before returning to school in the fall, Winston found Leomhann Enterprises online and was attracted to the company’s energy and ability to help both customers and team members. When the CEO, Jeff Crawford, extended an invitation for Winston to join the team at a nationally held sales conference in Dallas, he accepted without quite understanding what he would experience. It was there he truly experienced all that Leomhann Enterprises had to offer as far as growth and made a long term commitment to the company and himself.

Just 13 months after making that decision, Winston was promoted into an Assistant Management role after successfully proving himself in customer acquisitions, customer service, sales and territory management, team building, interviewing, and training. Now in his new role, Winston will aid in things like payroll, human resources and even social media management for the company. With goals of building Leomhann Enterprises into the #1 office in the country for our client, Winston doesn’t plan on taking his foot off the gas anytime soon.

In his free time, Winston likes to spend time with his significant other, hang out with colleagues, and prepare for his future. With aspirations to own a house overseas and help Leomhann Enterprises expand into Europe, Winston knows everyday he has to deliver results and follow through on what he says he’s going to accomplish! What makes him successful is his patience, dedication, and commitment to grinding it out at work, even when times are hard.

Winston – we hope you know how proud of you we are and grateful for your leadership. You continuously impress us and help the office redefine excellence daily.
